Busy Busy

So yesterday was a fun day for me, I got to drop off a few bags at Hair Envy in Roseau to be sold there. I also went into Kerri B and company and Kerri is going to also sell some bags for me as soon as I am able to get some more made. :)

Of course I had to make a stop at Quilt S'More while I was in town, can't go to town alone and not stop there. When I was shopping, I was asked to do a demonstration on how to make the flower that I have on my bag that I carry. I've never done a demonstration before so that should be fun. I'm going to have to make a bunch of the flowers to get some practice. :)



Time to go looking for more fabric ideas. Enjoy your Veske!

A Couple of New items on Etsy

So tonight I added a couple of new items to My Etsy Shop http://www.etsy.com/shop/VeskeByLindsay. Stop and take a look. I have just been like a busy bee working on bags when I get the chance. Tonight is a really short post because I need to go to bed! :)

Today what another big Big accomplishment for me. When I finally got done adding that item, I felt great! Hopefully now someone will take a look. I only have the one bag on there now, but I think tonight I will get a couple more on there.

Wow!

Thanks Everyone for the amazing response that I have gotten for my blog and my facebook page, I am really grateful. But now I have a bunch of work to do, so I better get busy. I have three bags that I have almost completed and as soon as I do, I will let everyone know. I am waiting on some fabric that I have ordered to work on any more. But it wont be long. Thanks again!

My Veske

Welcome to Veske by Lindsay! This is my first time blogging and I am excited to share my creativity with everyone! Sewing has always been apart of my life, not always done by me but I have always been around it, Thanks Mom!! But this last Christmas I decided to make purses for some of the wonderful women in my life and a door of creativity was opened! It was so much fun and I really enjoyed the quick gratification of making a bag. There are so many beautiful bag patterns out there, it was really hard to know where to start. This was the first bag that I did, the Phoebe Bag from Artsy Crafty Babe. What a perfect pattern for a first time bag, it was so easy to follow. And the bag, it is a wonderful size for a day shopping or a night out, I just love it!!
Most of the other bags that I had done where bags inspired by combination of different bags, not just one or even two. Here are just a few for you to take a look at.

Some of the fabric I used I bought from aboveallfabric.com and fabric.com, but quite a bit I bought was here locally at a store called Quilt S'more. Those ladies in there are wonderful! I really have a great time every time I go in there and it's somewhere I know I can take the kids and they love it. :)
